Hi! We’re Michelle and Matthew Sullivan, also known as The Writing Sullivans. We’re a writing and illustrating team that specializes in bedtime books that are fun for both kids AND parents.

As the parents of two rambunctious little girls (see above for our attempt at a family pic), we know that bedtime can be challenging. We were determined to do something about it. However, we weren’t satisfied with making it less challenging–we wanted to make it a blast! That’s why we created our Animal Sing-Along Series, which turns parents into pop stars and turns their kids into their biggest fans.

Along with creating fun and funny children’s books, I (Michelle) create art for a wide range of mediums, and Matthew has also published several novels and written for film and television. We’re also passionate about giving back and are proud to use a portion of our book sales to support a variety of children’s charities. We live in Scottsdale, Arizona, with our two hilarious little daughters, who are also the inspiration of much of our work, including the Animal Sing-Along Series.
